| Ivana Visnic - Oily Hair |
This can happen for several reasons, such as hormonal changes, stress, fatty foods and bad hair care. Oily hair does not look nice and it can bring your day down. That’s why Visnjic reminds how important it is to control the state of oily hair and keep the scalp clean. However, daily shampooing is not always a good idea. Chemicals in some shampoos may further exacerbate the problem.
Having oily hair can be stressful, and it is also unhealthy for the hair. Fortunately, Visnjic has some natural remedies that you can use at home, and will help you reduce excessive oily hair and achieve a fresh look for days.
Apple cider vinegar is an effective natural remedy for oily hair. The acetic acid in it helps balance the pH of the scalp, which in helps control the secretion of excess oil, and reduces the accumulation of oil on the hair. In addition, Ivana Visnjic says on her Altervista that apple cider vinegar acts as a tonic that will make the hair soft and shiny. To prepare the apple cider vinegar mask mix 2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water. After washing your hair with a mild shampoo, apply the mixture, wait a few minutes, and then rinse it off with cold water. You can repeat this two or three times a week.
Lemon or lemon juice is also good for different types of scalp and hair problems, including oily hair. It contains many important vitamins and minerals that help keep the hair healthy. The acid found in the lemon can balance the pH of the scalp and control the oil secretion. For preparation mix the juice of 2 lemons and 2 cups of distilled water. Ivana Visnjic also recommends adding a teaspoon of honey. Apply the mixture on the scalp and on the hair, and massage it for a few minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes, and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. For better results you can repeat this 3 times a week.
Baking soda is a very effective way to reduce oil scalp. It helps balance the pH of the scalp and reduces odor. To prepare the mask, mix baking soda and water in a ratio of 1: 3. Apply it to damp hair and leave it for a few minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water. Visnjic advises using this treatment once or twice a week. Also, when you don’t have time to wash your hair, you can use baking soda as a dry shampoo. Put a little soda in your hand and rub it in your hair. Then take a hairbrush and comb it well. Baking soda will absorb all the fat.
